With your support, I am able to serve the vulnerable children of Guatemala using the gifts God gave me. Through partnerships with ministries like Hope for Home ministry and Aliento, I offer medical consultations, nutrition planning and staff trainings.
So thank you for stopping by! If you're interested in supporting my ministry, I would love to have you. Together, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in Guatemala.
Welcome to my blog, a place where I can share my greatest passion- loving children with special needs as Christ loves each of us. I work with Hope for Home Ministries in Guatemala. I hope to share a little about each area in the ministry, as well as links to our team in Liberia. I invite you to explore my content and learn about what makes us tick. Please reach out and engage—I’m happy to hear from you, and answer questions you may have!
In my work as a nutrition consultant, I team up with local nutritionists to cook up personalized meal plans that tackle malnutrition head-on in the communities I serve. It's all about not just filling bellies for today but laying the groundwork for healthier tomorrows.
Plus, I'm super stoked to be partnering with Aliento Ministries through their formula donation program. It's a joy to see how something as simple as good food can make such a big difference in people's lives here in Guatemala.
In my role as a medical consultant, my focus is on providing comprehensive nursing care to the children's homes across Guatemala. From managing feeding tube changes to ensuring the physical well-being of each child, I'm there every step of the way. Whether it's hands-on care, writing and training staff, or conducting safety and health education sessions within the homes, my aim is to foster a culture of wellness and safety.
Additionally, I accompany children to medical appointments, particularly those in critical conditions, advocating for their needs and ensuring they receive the best possible care. Furthermore, I conduct CPR trainings, empowering caregivers with life-saving skills to respond effectively in emergencies. It's all about being a constant support system for these amazing kids and the dedicated staff who care for them.
In my commitment to individual cases, I pour my heart into providing personalized care to nearly a dozen children, each with their own unique needs. From consistent checkups to implementing stricter routines tailored to their specific health requirements, I'm dedicated to ensuring their well-being remains a top priority.
This means more frequent medical visits, closer monitoring, and a hands-on approach to addressing any challenges they may face. Every child deserves the highest level of care, and I'm honored to play a role in their journey towards health and happiness.
